RECOMMENDATIONS
Design your artwork in our Artwork Template gallery in the Product Details section for each item, or email [email protected] with the item number to request specific instructions.
Choose colors from the Pantone Matching System Solid Coated Colors.
Have your fonts converted to Outlines in Adobe Illustrator or embedded in the image.
Use Raster images at 150-300 dots per inch and embedded (final output size)
Transparent background: PNG or PSD (if sending in Raster format)
Minimum line thickness is 4 pt. (Can be checked in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or other programs)
TIPS
Images with gradients, transparency, halftones and drop shadows can print with unexpected results. Totally Promotional cannot guarantee color matching when using gradients, transparencies or halftones
Vinyl material is smoother so colors and photographs are more vibrant. Polyester is more textured and can sometimes cause photographs to be somewhat fuzzy.
Skin tones can appear slightly red when printed.
Keep as much of your design in Vector format as possible. If sending PSD files, do not flatten layers so the file remains editable, if necessary, for better output/color.
PRINTING PROCESS
Banners are imprinted with digital printing or a dye sublimation process.
Vinyl and mesh banners are imprinted via digital printing. Digital printing involves a large-scale digital printer that applies the print via ink through the printer onto the banners.
Polyester banners are imprinted via dye sublimation, which involves printing an image onto transfer paper and sublimating or dyeing it permanently into the banner material.
