Instead of picking a color or two for your wedding theme, grab them all!
Experts say it’s OK to forgo tradition and chase a rainbow of colors when choosing dresses, decorations and flowers for your special day.
The good folks at The Knot — the go-to source for every wedding detail — typically advise the use of two to four well-coordinated colors. But they recently broke their own rule (I love this!) by admitting a full-color palette can be gorgeous, too!
“The way to pull it off is to use more than one neutral, like cream and brown, in your color palette, or go for multiple shades of the same color to create a tonal color scheme,” author Simone Hill wrote in the Top 13 Wedding Color and Style Mistakes Not to Make.
And here’s a bonus: A wedding theme with many colors could save big bucks and time if you don’t have to seek out a precise match for a specific hue.
