Father’s Day is always the third Sunday in June. A meaningful DIY Father’s Day card can take a lot of creativity and planning. It’s time to get busy!

I’ve rounded up a few adorable, homemade Father’s Day cards for you and your group to make. Most are fairly easy and can be created by kids with minimal supervision.

DIY Father’s Day cards

Supplies

2 sheets legal-size cardstock in coordinating colors/patterns
Pencil
Scissors
Tape

Directions

Use one sheet of cardstock paper to draw and cut out a tie to fit your card. If you don’t trust your drawing skills, visit Totally Promotional’s Father’s Day Pinterest Board for your choice of free printable tie templates!

Cut and fold the second sheet of cardstock paper to create your card.

Make a 2-inch slit in the top center of the card front, and fold back the edges so they resemble a collar.

Use double-stick tape or rolled pieces of tape to secure the tips of the “collar” and the tie in place.
