Try these easy New Year’s finger foods to keep your party rocking. After all, great food and awesome drinks are key to a successful celebration!
I’ve chosen these three New Year’s Eve food ideas because they are simple to make and use ingredients that are easy to find. I also think it’s important to choose recipes for New Year’s Eve that can be made ahead of time. The hostess needs quality party time, too!
3 New Year’s Eve Party Dips
Tasty Dill Dip
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 3 tablespoons grated onion
- 3 tablespoons dried dill weed
- 1 1/2 tablespoons seasoning salt
Pina Colada Fruit Dip
- 1 small box instant coconut cream pudding mix
- 3/4 cup Extra Creamy Cool Whip
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1/4 cup coconut
Super Cheesy Artichoke Dip
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 15-oz. jar artichoke hearts (drained, rinsed, chopped)
- 2 finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 minced clove of garlic
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Large bread bowl (I use King’s Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread)
In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, Parmesan, cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. The mixture should be smooth. Stir in the artichokes, green onions, garlic, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Place mixture in the bread bowl cavity. Lightly cover it with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Do not allow the bread to get too crispy.
Sprinkle the top with additional Parmesan cheese. Serve with reserved bread crumbs, carrots, celery or anything else you’d like.
