We annually sponsor a high school volleyball tournament: The Totally Promotional Spikeoff Classic. The event is held a few blocks from our company headquarters in Coldwater, Ohio. We often donate customized banners and gave participants from each school a “Spikeoff” lanyard and a logo T-shirt in their school colors.
“The Coldwater schools and athletic department would truly like to thank Totally Promotional for their sponsorship,” Eric Goodwin, the district’s athletic director, said recently. “This is a special tournament already with the teams involved and the facilities we are fortunate to have, but your sponsorship took it to a new level.”
Goodwin said they used one of the vinyl banners to display the tournament bracket because it was much easier to view than a handwritten poster.
“We kept the bracket updated and displayed throughout the tournament. Fans loved it,” he said. “At the end, we gave the banner to the winning team to display at their school.”
Goodwin said everyone who participates is a winner.
“I know the players and coaches truly appreciate this. No matter how they finish the tournament, they take something home with them to remember it by,” he said.
Goodwin said the athletic department receives a great review from the school and community for Totally Promotional’s involvement.
“(The sponsorship) is a win-win for all involved,” he added.
