I can tell you all about our great promotional products and what they can do for your business or event. I am truly convinced promotional products work.

But I work for Totally Promotional so you’d have a right to be skeptical. I’m sure you’d rather read what real customers have to say. Approximately 93 percent of consumers seek reviews from other buyers before making a purchase. I certainly do.

So I called a few of our customers to hear about their experiences with our products. I really enjoyed their inspiring and sometimes funny stories. (I love my job!)

Do promotional products work?

Our customers sure think so! From first-time buyers to loyal clients, here are people just like you who discovered the true value of promotional products.

You can only do so much with a business card.

Ashley Winch of Harrisburg Golf Simulator of Pennsylvania

A little more than two years ago, the Harrisburg Golf Simulator opened for business. It’s a fun, exciting place featuring two indoor private simulator rooms and a main simulator room with other sports and equipment.

“We opened in March 2018 as an investment,” co-owner Ashley Winch explained.

With a Full Swing Pro2 Widescreen Simulator, E6 Golf Software and customizable rooms, they knew they had a good thing going. But Winch wanted something extra to get their name out there and impress clients.

“We started ordering from you guys when we opened. First, it was a table cloth and cups. Your prices were good … and you have everything!” she said.

She uses customized keychains, lanyards, stress balls, bottle openers with logos and custom branded sunglasses in the gift bags she creates for new customers, tournaments and other golf promotions.

“You can only do so much with a business card,” Winch said. “These items absolutely, definitely legitimize our business. Having a bunch of swag makes it so real. And the bulk pricing makes it affordable.”

They turned out beautiful. The quality was great!

Heather Alana, founder of Epoch Co+ of Bryan, Texas

Heather Alana, founder and principal planner of Epoch Co+ wedding planners, loves making dreams come true for her clients. So, when one of her brides requested customized cups for her guests, Alana chose Totally Wedding Koozies.

“We made sure (the cups) were set out on the bar for guests to use for the first toast,” she said.

The bride was very happy with the professional look and quality of the cups she chose, Alana added.

“They turned out beautiful. The quality was great!” she said.

We’ve been ordering from you guys for about eight years now. You’re very timely and your work is always good.

Katherine Kuszmaul, owner of kuszmaul Design & PR

Kuszmaul Design & PR of Charleston and Greenville, S.C., is focused on its clients and the charitable organizations it helps each year. The multi-media design firm calls itself a “boutique digital agency” due to the many high-tech services it offers.

Owner Katherine Kuszmaul uses promotional products as gifts for clients, branding for her own business and to boost fundraising efforts.

“We’ve been ordering from you guys for about eight years now. You’re very timely and your work is always good,” she said.

Her go-to promotional product is custom neoprene koozies.

“We’ve ordered many, many koozies through the years,” she said.

Other promo items she’s used with positive results are chip clips, reusable tote bags, promotional party sunglasses and “lots and lots of pens,” Kuszmaul said with a laugh. She recently ordered customized USB chargers for a client who is donating them to a school.

Many of the promotional items she selects are placed in goodie bags and handed out at expos and other events to promote her business, Kuszmaul added.

The cups were really well-received. I just placed our second order last week.

Jessica Roe, co-owner of Roe Bros. Pizza of Florida

Roe Bros. Pizza isn’t an ordinary pizza business. It’s only open every other weekend and operates out of a food stand in Clearwater, Fla. The owners and employees are a family of six that includes mom, dad and four teenage sons.

“We started the business to teach our children what it takes to run a business,” Jessica Roe said.

She and her husband began working from home after COVID-19 struck. With schools closed, the couple decided to get the kids involved in creating, selling and delivering fresh, homemade pizza pies — a family favorite.

“Our kids sometimes deliver the pizzas in our golf cart,” she said.

The family also created a homemade cream soda and decided to sell it by the cupful! Jessica Roe found the perfect color-changing cups at Totally Promotional.

“I ordered a (cup) sample and washed it in the dishwasher several times to make sure it stayed looking nice,” she said. “It held up well.”

They sold the cups filled with cream soda to their pizza-loving customers. They even sold some empty ones to out-of-state clients who wanted to support their business! Roe said she quickly ran out of cups.

“The cups were really well-received. I just placed my second order last week,” she said.
