  • Minimum font size is 14 pt.
  • Minimum font size for reversed out text (light text on dark background) is 18 pt.
  • Minimum line thickness is 2 pt. (Can be checked in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or other programs)

  • High contrast color combinations work best. Low contrast (light on light, medium on medium, dark on dark) are not recommended.

PRINTING PROCESS

  • Lanyards are imprinted via screen printing or dye sublimation for 1-color imprints.
  • Screen printing burns the selected image into a screen that is then positioned on top of each lanyard as the ink is pushed through. The ink is then transferred onto the lanyards in the shape of the image as a “raised” print.
  • For dye sublimation, the product starts out solid white. The background color and image are dyed into the material. The imprint is not raised in the dye sublimation process.

PRINTING PROCESS

  • Dye sublimation is used for full-color imprints on lanyards. This process involves printing an image onto transfer paper and sublimating or dyeing it permanently into the lanyard material.
