Sharing with our neighbors

Putting smiles on the faces of people in our community brings much joy to the staff at Totally Promotional.

We recently gathered up hundreds of new promotional products that were discontinued or just no longer needed and set out to find them homes. Since our e-commerce business is located in a small, rural area, we personally know the leaders at many companies and organizations in our community. We made a few phone calls, organized boxes and delivered the gifts to our local partners.

Nursing home party supplies

Our area seniors know how to party! After discovering that two local nursing homes host “Happy Hour” celebrations from time to time, we knew what to do with dozens of beer, cocktail and shot glasses! We also threw in a few other party items such as sunglasses to enhance the good times. Activity organizers said the items were a big hit with their Oh Crap! and Brews & Tattoos games!

Personal bags for kids in need

Our county children’s services agency handles difficult situations every day. Our hearts go out to their staff and the families they assist during such trying times. When children are removed from homes, they sometimes have only a trash bag to transport the few personal items they take with them. We decided this agency and its youngest clients could really use several boxes of backpacks and tote bags!

Creating cuddle time

Wrapping a baby in a soft blanket is a joy many of us have experienced. Unfortunately, not everyone’s pregnancy situation is as worry-free as it should be. Our staff decided to donate several boxes of new blankets to a local, non-profit pregnancy center to help clients.

Choosing Life Pregnancy Center promotes the well-being and spiritual health of men, women and families. The organization offers a variety of services, as well as clothing and home items that support choosing life for all unborn babies.

Feeding the soul

When you’re looking out for the needs of individuals and families of all ages, you’re always in need. That’s the struggle facing our local Community Action Life Line or C.A.L.L Ministries. So when our staff was contemplating how to distribute dozens of drinkware items and bags, we quickly put C.A.L.L. at the top of the list.

C.A.L.L. Ministries is a Christian-based organization supported by many different churches, as well as businesses and individuals. It helps low-income county residents without tapping government resources. The agency has a food and clothing pantry, an aquaponics program and several other ministries that target multiple needs within the community it serves.
