Do-it-yourself wedding favor display ideas

Favor Display Ideas

Before I dive into display ideas, I’m going to explain what a wedding favor is. A wedding favor is a small gift given to guests at your wedding or reception as a gesture of thanks for their support. It also serves as a memento of the occasion.

Favors usually compliment the theme or season of the event and may be personalized with the couple’s names, initials or wedding date.

Some factors to consider when choosing favors for your wedding is budget, number of guests, shelf life and the time available for making or buying them. Consider selecting a favor your guests will want to keep for years to remember your special day!

Favors can be inspired by the season, the setting, the theme or your obsessions/passions. Examples of inspiration can be a destination wedding, a passion for baking or the snowflakes you are hoping for as you head up the aisle.

Now the big question: How are you going to display your favors? We’ve seen some really great wedding favor display ideas and thought we’d share a few.

Use your favors as table decorations. Photo coasters add a pop of color. Custom coasters are a great conversation piece, but almost any favor can be incorporated into table decor!

It only makes sense to display can coolers where you distribute drinks!

Add a sign: “Thank you. Please take one.”

Sometimes it’s best to give instructions so guests know they are welcome to take these favors home! Click here to learn how to make the rustic favor display below.

I really like the look of the place holders that have a picture of the bride and the groom. This seems like an excellent wedding favor. My fiance and I are getting married next month, so I think that we should think of a nice favor in order to thank our guests for their attendance.
