Congressman happy with growth of small business
COLDWATER, Ohio — U.S. Rep. Warren Davidson of the 8th District of Ohio on April 21 toured one of the fastest-growing businesses in Mercer County.
The Republican Congressman visited the newly renovated office and the adjacent production facility of Totally Promotional, an online retailer and manufacturer of custom-printed promotional products.
“This is great to see,” said Davidson, as he watched nearby workers use high-tech machines to sew hundreds of colorful can coolers. “This is exciting.”
The Congressman said he's happy to hear that many businesses in the region like Totally Promotional are doing well.
“I hear everybody's been hiring,” Davidson said.
He was escorted on the tour by Mercer County Commissioner Greg Homan to several businesses and other organizations in the Coldwater area, including a dairy farm.
Davidson, a U.S. Army veteran, is a noted supporter of small businesses. Before he became a U.S. Congressman, he was president of Global Source Molds, a company that produces tools for plastic injection molding.
Davidson was elected in June 2016 to fill the remaining term of outgoing Representative John Boehner. In November 2016, he was re-elected to his first full term as a U.S. Representative.
