Phenomenal growth spurs 60-plus job openings at Totally Promotional

COLDWATER, Ohio — Totally Promotional is bursting with job opportunities as it embarks on its biggest year ever with new product lines, state-of-the-art print techniques and additional space.

The company’s growth has led to 60 immediate full-time job openings and several dozen more becoming available throughout 2019.

Chief Operating Officer Lynn Huwer said the amazing growth at Totally Promotional opens up lots of opportunities for those looking for rewarding careers.

“With growth in just about every department, we now have positions available for people with all types of backgrounds, skills and experience,” Huwer said.

Mercer County Community and Economic Development Director Jared Ebbing said the company’s success helps the overall economy in the region.

“The continued growth at Totally Promotional has been such a positive story over the past several years,” he said. “In addition to the physical improvements being made at their Coldwater location, the exciting new product lines, capabilities and technology being utilized have helped make Totally Promotional a valuable company within our region. As they have successfully expanded over the years, all of the additional/new employees being added to their wonderful staff are a boon for this area, and we are excited to see their employment opportunities continue to grow.”

The company recently expand its production and warehouse areas by more than 18,000 square feet, bringing the total occupied space to more than 182,000 square feet in the former New Idea farm equipment building. Totally Promotional’s nearby offices were expanded in 2018 and now span about 23,000 square feet.

The promotional products manufacturer and retailer recently added many exciting items to its product line such as imprinted glassware/barware; custom tech products, including cell phone accessories, earphones and chargers; paper gift bags in a wide assortment of colors and sizes; and stress balls.

The growing business also expanded production lines for tote bags, drawstring bags, sports bottles and tumblers. Production has doubled in recent months for personalized lanyards and hand sanitizer.

Totally Promotional soon will be offering customized ceramic mugs and is looking at many other products to fulfill customer demand.

“This is the biggest increase in product lines in our history,” plant manager Jake Heuker said.

Heuker also said the production team will soon be using three new print processes: a Computer-To-Screen (CTS) system, flexographics and waterslide decals.

“It’s a whole new world, a new frontier for Totally Promotional,” Heuker added.

Totally Promotional was founded in 1993 as a distributor of custom promotional products. Today it is a fast-growing online retailer and manufacturer. The business offers approximately 7,000 items and produces about 4 million customized products each month. The company places personalized logos, text, images and other designs on products for weddings, trade shows, anniversaries, grand openings and other events.
